New Members
We are always looking for new members – experienced bowlers or local people who enjoy being part of a friendly club and who are interested in taking up a new pastime. You might never have played bowls before – it doesn’t matter, there are plenty of members to help you. If you are interested then you can contact our secretary Bill Broome at billandsuebroome@btinternet.com who can arrange for you to come and have a try – all you need are some flat shoes so as not to damage the green. We also arrange an Open Day during May; this will be advertised on our main page and facebook page. Our experienced players will teach you the basics of how to play. You will definitely have a chance to bowl on our six-rink green and be coached as you play.
Members can book rinks on the green for practice and for internal competitions – there are booking folders in the club house.
Booking forms for our Social events will also be available in the club house.
Fees
For those that haven’t bowled before the fees for the first year will be £30
Annual player subscription – £100
Junior subscription – £30
Subscriptions are to be paid by the end of January each year.
